Lars Blizard
Lars Blizard, a native of Boulder, Colorado, has called the Southern Tier of NY home since 1981, and currently resides in Binghamton. Lars’ interest in computers started in 1978 and blossomed upon getting his first computer for Christmas 1983. He established a home-based business Blizard Computer Service in January 1994. Prior to completion of the A+ certified computer Technician course in 2000 at BOCES in Endicott, NY, he was largely self-taught.
He passed the COMPtia certification exam in 2000 to obtain his A+ certified computer technician credential. Blizard Computer Service offers personalized computer repair, installation, and all aspects of repair for Windows™ based computers at your home or business.
Lars currently serves as Technical Director of Mental Health Power Communications, Inc.
( MHPC, Inc. ) Board of Directors as of 2000 to present. Volunteer at Johnson Broadcasting INC. 2010 to 2017 & Board Member of Johnson Broadcasting INC. as of 2017 to present
History
Blizard Computer Service ( BCS ) was started as a sole proprietorship in 1994. Home based business operated by Lars Blizard. Web site established July 1997. BCS' original name ( The Graphics Lab ) was changed June 1999 to Blizard Computer Training (BCS' second name) to reflect services offered. Lars Blizard Completed BOCES' Computer Repair Technician course held February 15 through June 13, 2000. A+ Certified Technician's Exam Passed November 27, 2000. (Blizard Computer Training) was changed to Blizard Computer Service to reflect services offered on May 2005. Fiber optic diagnostics and maintenance offered as of 2018.

Blizard Computer Service (BCS) offers on site computer and network management at your home or office at a reasonable rate. BCS offers a high level of practical experience, know-how and confidence. BCS provides a professional and less stressful way to receive computer and network management verses working completely on your own or buried in technical support phone calls. BCS will ultimately assist our clients in becoming computer and network operational.
